The G20 First Agricultural Entrepreneurs Forum was held in Xi'an

(Reporter Ma Chao) Today (June 2), the first G20 Group of Agricultural Entrepreneurs Forum was successfully held in Xi'an. Minister of Agriculture Han Changfu attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Shaanxi Provincial Governor Hu Heping delivered a speech, and the principals of the EU Agriculture Committee, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, COFCO, and DuPont Plant Protection spoke.

Han Changfu emphasized that modern agricultural enterprises, as the main players in the market, have significant advantages in developing markets, building brands, promoting new technologies, and developing new industries. They have a unique role in optimizing resource allocation and promoting the integration of the first, second and third industries. China will uphold the principle of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, unswervingly promote the opening up of agriculture, expand and deepen cooperation with agricultural enterprises in various countries, strengthen cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road” and other key areas, optimize the development environment and improve The level of trade and investment, strengthen cooperation in agricultural science and technology innovation, agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturing, agricultural information technology, agricultural product processing and circulation, and ecological recycling agriculture, and seek common development with agriculture.
The first G20 Agricultural Entrepreneur Forum was initiated by China. As a supporting activity of the G20 Agriculture Ministers' Meeting, it attracted nearly 300 domestic and international organizations such as G20 member well-known agricultural enterprises and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, as well as representatives from relevant international financial, investment and consulting institutions. The seminar aims to create a good political and business environment for G20 agricultural investment, build an inter-enterprise dialogue platform, and play an important role in enhancing the level of agricultural economic and trade development and promoting the common prosperity of agriculture.
The Forum unanimously adopted the G20 Agricultural Entrepreneur Forum Initiative and the Action Plan of the G20 Agricultural Entrepreneur on Promoting Agricultural Development and Ending Hunger and Poverty, and in Agricultural Investment, Food Security and Nutrition, and Cross-border Enterprises A consensus was reached on three aspects of operations. The forum recommended that the G20 Agricultural Entrepreneur Forum be institutionalized and coordinated with each G20 Agriculture Ministers' Meeting to highlight the important role of food security and agricultural economic and trade issues in G20 members and globally.
